Beginner Silversmithing

In this 8-week session, you will learn the Art of Silversmithing. We will begin with the basics and culminate with a fully custom fabricated one of a kind Bezel set ring of your creation. We will complete several finished pieces of jewelry in this class, including a set of earrings, and multiple custom rings. You will learn to design, cut, file and finish a variety of jewelry objects. Creating a bezel and bezel setting will be covered and you will learn to solder with confidence! This class also will qualify you to begin using our Open Studio sessions, in which you can come into the studio and work on your own projects on your own time.
