Beginner Silversmithing

8 sessions - $980

Only 6 students per class ensures excellent private instruction in a group environment.

In this 8-week session, you will learn the Art of Silversmithing. We will begin with the basics and culminate with a fully custom fabricated one of a kind Bezel set ring of your creation. We will complete several finished pieces of jewelry in this class, including a set of earrings, and multiple custom rings. You will learn to design, cut, file and finish a variety of jewelry objects. Creating a bezel and bezel setting will be covered and you will learn to solder with confidence! This class also will qualify you to begin using our Open Studio sessions, in which you can come into the studio and work on your own projects on your own time, for the duration of your course enrollment.

NOTE: Classes and Workshops require a minimum of 3 attendees. If we have less than 3 students registered 24 hours before the scheduled workshop or class begins, the class will be cancelled and you registration fee will be refunded.

Advanced one-on-one instruction in a small group environment. Open studio access is also included in Advanced Monthly tuition of $400 per month.

Tuition includes:

One evening per week of one-on-one instruction in a group setting.

Access to all open studio times with no additional charge.

Some materials will be provided at the professor's discretion, but students will be expected to provide most of their materials.

All studio supplies, including solder, flux, soap, pickle, tumbling media, ect are included in tuition.

Festive Snowflake Earring Workshop (Sat, December 12, 2026)

In this 3-hour long workshop, you will create fun seasonal snowflake earrings. Skills you will learn include bezel setting, metal forming, soldering, sawing, polishing, and applying patina. Copper or silver earring options available. All options will include a sterling silver bezel cup, turquoise cabochon, and sterling silver ear wires. No experience necessary. All materials costs are included in the registration fee.
